LET THE BUYER BEWARE
DID YOU KNOW
In Pennsylvania, anyone can start a business doing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or other skilled trade contracting with absolutely no technical training.
Pennsylvania is one of only a hand full of states that does not require any certification or testing of a person that wants to start a contracting business.
In 2009, Pennsylvania did start to require home improvement contractors to register with the state, so it could monitor complaints, but still did not require that a contractor provide proof of his or her qualifications to perform such work.
At J. A. LEFEVRE ELECTRIC we require that all our journeymen electricians have completed a four year accredited apprenticeship program.
J. Arlan [Arnie] LeFevre, the owner of J. A. LEFEVRE ELECTRIC, has completed his electrical apprenticeship, passed the journeyman electrician and the master electrician exams administered by the International Code Council.
So when you need an electrician, call on a company that guarantees its employees are well trained and qualified to perform whatever task your situation requires.
